Tobago Seventh Day Adventist Teacher Investigated for Child Sexual Abuse

The Education Division of Trinidad and Tobago has joined forces with the police to investigate the sexual abuse of a student by a teacher from the Harmon’s Seventhday Adventist High School in Rockly Vale ,Scarborough over the Easter Vacation at the school compound.
Assistant Secretary Gloria Groomes-Duke says that investigations are still on going. The teacher in the investigation resigned his post as news of the incident surfaced.
On May 10th the school executive committee met and after a three hour deliberations, decided that in the interest of the school the teacher should resign. The school accepted his resignation.
